On October 17, 2022, the student government at Drohobych University met Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Information Activities Ihor Hrynyk, Head of the Department of Information Activities and Youth Policy Volodymyr Dumych and specialist of the same department Natalia Buchkovska, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Lidia Romanyk. Among the representatives of the student government, were its head Ivan Matsiborko, student deans and their deputies Iryna Moshovska, Tetiana Bedyk, Olha Klysa, Anna Svitlozarova and Iryna Sukhoverska.
The purpose of the meeting: to coordinate interaction between the structural divisions of the university and student government, support dialogue and students’ initiatives. The participants discussed the types of international activities that the students at Drohobych University can take part in and outlined the ways of their implementation.
As Vice-rector Ihor Hrynyk noted: “Today, the students have a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and professional skills thanks to a number of international projects. It allows them not only to visit the EU countries but also to study at the best universities in Europe. What a student needs is a desire for self-development, improving the level of English language proficiency.”
