International mobility is one of the priority directions for Drohobych University, establishing cooperation with foreign educational institutions. This provides opportunities for our students to participate in mobility programs and study and practice at universities in Europe. Olena Vanko, a second-year student at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Economics and Innovative Technologies, took advantage of this opportunity and went for a semester study at the Jan Dlugosz University (Częstochowa, Republic of Poland).
Olena’s impressions of her studies are very positive. “Of course, at first it was difficult and unusual. It was necessary to deal with organizational issues with documents, bank cards and even a SIM card. But the staff at the international relations department and fellow students always helped. Teachers are demanding, but always understanding. The material is learned quite easily, especially if you have knowledge of terminology.
I believe that this is an extraordinary experience in my life and I encourage everyone to participate in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program should the opportunity arise. And I thank Drohobych University and the Department of International Relations for putting so much effort into the development of international student mobility.”
As part of a working trip, Deputy Dean Voytovych H.O. managed to meet and talk with Olena. The good news was that Olena did well in the Polish language test during her first week there.
We are proud of the success of our students and long it may continue!
