PRINCIPLES AND CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES

AMONG STUDENTS OF DSPU OF IVAN FRANKO

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ERASMUS + PROGRAM

(2020-2021)

Information campaign and candidates recruiting procedure

Information on the enrolment of students, which will take place from the 5th  to 23d  of October, 2020, will be posted on the Internet (on the University website) and sent to the appropriate coordinators of faculties / institutes for further dissemination.

 

Departure dates

Departures are scheduled for the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year (for a period of about 5 months).

 

Scholarships

The selected student will receive a monthly scholarship of an established amount, as well as reimbursement of travel expenses. Payments are made by EU-member university.

 

Criteria required to participate in the program:

  • To be a student of DSPU.
  • To be fluent in English (required) and another foreign language (preferably) and be able to confirm this with proper documents. In case of absence of such documents, it is necessary to pass an interview to establish the level of proficiency in a foreign language.
  • To have аn average grade point for the entire previous period of study not less than 4.0 (at least 75 points).

 

Documents required:

  • filled out entry form (Learning Agreement);
  • СV;
  • document confirming knowledge of the required foreign language (English, other language) at a level B1 at least.
  • certificate from the dean’s office, stating the average grade point for previous years of study, and photocopies of all pages of the student’s record-book.

 

Period for submission of documents: from the 5th to 23d of October 2020 in the International Relations Office (main building of Drohobych University, room no 9).

 

Criteria for selection of candidates (listed in order of their importance):

  • average grade point for the entire previous period of study (at least 4.0).
  • level B1 of the required foreign language (foreign languages).
  • in case of candidates with the same level of qualifications, preference will be given to students from low-income families and students who take an active part in university activities.

 

The qualification procedure consists of four stages:
1st stage ( 5th –23d of October, 2020) – submission of necessary documents;
2nd stage (26th -30th of October, 2020) – passing the qualifying interview (the exact date is yet to be determined);

3rd stage (2d – 6th of November, 2020) – selection of candidates whose documents will be sent to the partner university;
4th stage (till the 30th of November, 2020) – final approval of candidates by both partner universities. In case of refusal of the selected person, the university will invite the following candidate from the reserve list established by the qualification commission.

AMONG TEACHERS/EMPLOYEES OF DSPU OF IVAN FRANKO

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ERASMUS + КА107 PROGRAM

(2020-2021)

1. Information campaign and candidates recruiting procedure

Information on the enrolment of teachers, which will take place from the 5th  to 23d  of October, 2020, will be posted on the Internet (on the university website) and sent to the appropriate coordinators of faculties / institutes for further dissemination.

 

2. The teacher’s stay at the partner university will be realized at the established period from February 1 to June 30 2021 and will last 5 working days (+2 days for travel).

 

3. As part of the mobility, the teacher undertakes to conduct a minimum of 8 hours of didactic classes (the administrative employee – to plan a program of at least 8 hours of internship) with students of the partner university. The parties must agree on the program of planned classes, goals, content of classes and expected results beforehand as a part of the standard form of Mobility Agreement.

 

4.Departure dates

Departures will take place in the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year for a period of about 5 working days (+2 days of travel). Selected dates are agreed by both partner universities.

 

5.Financial support

The selected teacher will receive financial support (except for zero grant mobilities) of an established amount, as well as reimbursement of travel expenses. Payments are made by EU member state university.

 

6.Criteria required to participate in the program:

  • Work as an academic teacher Drohobych University.
  • Knowledge of English (required) and another foreign language (preferably) at a level not lower than B2 and be able to confirm this with relevant documents. In case of absence of such documents, it is necessary to pass an interview to establish the level of proficiency in a foreign language.
  • Evaluation of the “Training Program”, which is part of the Mobility Agreement (necessarily approved by the signatures and seals of the representative of the partner university and the representative of Drohobych State Pedagogical University);

–    Preference will be given to teachers who will confirm their participation in joint projects/      activities between Drohobych State Pedagogical University and the partner university.

 

7.Documents required:

  • filled out Mobility Agreement form;
  • “Training Program” developed according to the sample and agreed by representatives of both universities;
  • document confirming candidate’s level B1 of the required foreign language (English, other language).
  • it is desirable to confirm the teacher’s participation in joint projects/activities between Drohobych State Pedagogical University and the partner university.

8.The qualification procedure consists of four stages:
