On Thursday, January 4, 2024, the representatives from Middle State Tennessee University (USA), Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and Donbas State Pedagogical University gathered for their first on-line working meeting.
The main goal is to create a team to hold an online course INTRODUCTION TO QUANTUM COMPUTING, which will take place within the framework of the “STEM with Ukraine – the USA-Ukraine collaboration in STEM research and education” program. Conducting the course is a volunteer initiative of Hanna Terletska, former Drohobych University student and now an Associate Professor, Department of Physics and Astronomy at Middle State Tennessee University (USA). Very soon, students of the three Ukrainian universities will be able to take a course of lectures from a leading expert in the field of Quantum Information Science.
It should be noted that this cooperation was initiated by the Head of the international relations department Khrystyna Voytovych (Drohobych University) and Professor Hanna Terletska (Middle State Tennessee University).
