At the beginning of this summer, NFSU and SNSF signed a memorandum of understanding, which provided for the deepening of cooperation between the institutions. Today, we are pleased to announce a research project competition for which researchers from Switzerland and Ukraine can jointly apply. It is worth noting that applicants are absolutely free to choose topics.

The projects that will be submitted to the NFSU and SNSF competition can last up to three years. They will be funded by the SNSF. The first competition for the new bilateral program is expected to be announced in the winter of 2023. Therefore, researchers from Ukraine and Switzerland who wish to participate are advised to start establishing communication with each other now!

In addition, NFSU also became a partner organization of the AcademiaNet database, the management function of which is performed by the SNSF. The database contains more than 3,500 profiles of outstanding women scientists from all fields of research across Europe. Women admitted to the program must be nominated by European scientific organizations taking into account certain criteria.

After signing the agreement with AcademiaNet, NFSU can nominate the best female researchers from Ukraine for inclusion in the international database! Very soon we will start the process of determining the first nominees, so please follow the news on our official website and social networks
