The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with DNU “Institute of Educational Analytics” in cooperation with the SoftServe company, with the support of the “Tech To The Rescue” project and the OPEN/TECH crowdsourcing initiative, created an information resource “Digital services for the education of Ukraine” for educational institutions of Ukraine of all levels .
The resource is aimed at such categories of users as education seekers, pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical, scientific and administrative employees of educational institutions, as well as partners and volunteers who are ready to contribute to the development of digital education, access to high-quality educational materials, and information services.
The purpose of the resource is to provide prompt information to educational institutions of Ukraine about all available opportunities for free access to educational platforms and services, conditions for joining programs from partners. The resource already contains relevant information about such services as Coursera, Udemy, edX, Labster, Zoom, Google Workspace, and the information is constantly updated.
Successful examples of the use of open online courses and digital services in the educational process will be regularly published on the pages of the resource.
It is planned to create a toolkit for collecting and summarizing information from teachers regarding the compliance of various online courses with educational disciplines and the specifics of their application. A search form for relevant online courses will also be available for teachers who are starting to learn about open resources.
A webinar presentation of the resource “Digital Services for Education of Ukraine” will be held for technical administrators of educational institutions, teachers, pupils and students. It will be held on December 7, 2022 at 12:30 via the link, and the broadcast will also be available on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education, the Association of Innovative and Digital Education together with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and leading Ukrainian distance schools have launched a new educational initiative “Skills for a Successful Life”.
